Description
I decided to do a song built around a heavy tremelo effect. Started with rhythm guitar and drums - then added synth and bass - and finally lead guitar and vocals. The guitar sounds are a combination of vintage Boss pedals - a recent Behringer tremelo pedal and the low end Line 6 gear box interface with some GB effects for good measure.
I played a '64 Fender Mustang for this one and the usual Ibanez bass and Oxygen8 keyboard. Drums are courtesy of Drums on Demand with overdrive, reverb, and delay. Vocals are one take spread across four tracks with lots of juice on them.
This is basically a tribute to The Jesus and Mary Chain for those who are not familiar with the band - though it's a little rougher at times than their stuff.
