Description
I wasn't inspired. I hope this sounds ok. I'm home alone this weekend and felt I needed to use the time to put a song together. Home Alone! How often does that happen?

Anyhow, have fun!

Lyrics
I'm feeling new.
I'm seeing you.
I know right from my soul.

I don't need malady, baby, in my heart.

Rolling around.
Rolling ground, moving around the bend.

Is it true?
I'm in this mood.
It's coming from my heart.

Distant darkness, don't know what goes down in my soul.
I say let it be.

I gotta run for cover, son.
Find some I know.

Mirrors in my dreams, beyond the screams.
Let's go, when I'm gone, now-now-now, somewhere in my soul.

Thanks Ed!
Really! Thanks. My goal was to come up with something interesting. I've written lyrics first lately. But this was almost complete before I thought of words. I laid out a vocal track and recorded sounds that sounded like words. Then I listened to the sounds and formed them into these lyrics. It was one of the best parts, the process I mean.

Hey Feter!
Yeah, I actually put in three bass lines. I tried to make them distinct, but ah well. I wish I could impress you with a wonderful back up vocalist. But it was merely me at an octave up through a filter... But I have done that, more subtly on one or two of my other tunes.

Thanks for the comment. The most fun part is if I get inspired to remake it!

Thanks buddy!

feeling alright
starts off in a early seventies joe cocker way with the funky guitar. but the laid back vocals send it off into a different direction. a cool laid back piece Doug.
