Been doing a back and forth
on the two songs and I can hear the subtle changes,. The Bass and drums are up a little in the mix, as is the guitar. Also you vox sounds cleaner on the new mix.

They both work for me, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the new mix because it is more well defined and a little cleaner.

But they both sound great my friend so what ever you did here, take notes cause it's working.

Here it is: I brought the second bass line up a bit and changed the timbre, brought up the "whisper" track up a bit, pulled back on the guitars through the middle section and boosted the percussion, pulled back on percussion and up'ed the guitars for two bars after the middle section then pulled them back down, separated the frequencies a bit between guitars (gave them a bit more high end) and vocals (improved midrange), and did an overall master boost to all tracks graduating from the beginning of the middle section to the end of the song.

I was wondering if any of this would make a difference. I'm glad you looked at them for me!

thanks for the tip in the forums - i like the groove in here, and the funkola feel. it's cool, the vocals kind of background - and yet, not! your music always pleases!

... definitely more funkadeliciousness going on here ! Nice new levels and somewehat clearer (clarity is everything) .. and a little louder ... I do like it louder ... half deaf I think ..... still LOVE those harmonies you added .... you make a great woman !
