Here here all you folks ...I was waiting for
this chance for a while .working with Chris
(PickQuickRecords)and collaborate with his
is a real dream as a great musician and sound
engineer , I always enjoyed his setting ...
so he called for a blues collab and ye I thought
this is it ... time come and gone and here I had
this chance to sit with Yamen (yamenyamani) at the
studio working and guitar and he played the piano
I thought ...first I would sing with it then ...
I felt ...man I still hear Jack Miller (Dadai.2)
sax echo on my ears so I gave him a call and Man
he s just great , answered the call and here it is
folks ..a collaboration I would never thought it
would be done this way ...tooks a while but I m
happy as Chris and everybody happy with it .....

Chris:Bass, Drums,Keys and 'first take engineering'
feter:Guitar
Jack Miller: Sax and final Mixing
Yamen: Piano and many work on adjusting and recording at the studio

I just love..
the smokey, back alley, flipin' your coin underneath the street light vibe this has going on! The sax just sounds frickin' bad ass! I love the piano complementing every part. Then the diggin' into your soul guitar work!..Wow! Impressive. Sorry about the profanity guys, but this is SWEET!!

It came from
a dark alley, the sound of smoking and smokey blues,a small doorway illuminated only by the small flashing neon that was coloured as it advertised,'blues'.The place looked like trouble,but sounded like paradise on hot sax.I drew on my stogy and thought 'what the hell'.The Dame and her job I was on could wait for a cold one,or three,or maybe even more.I pulled the hat brim low over my eyes and went in through the door.Cool.

Oh yes!
What an excellent blues song with a superb line-up. Jack, I really love the sax just sounds fantastic and some mighty fine guitar playing Feter, as I said before you just keep getting better and better with every song you post.
Some great piano playing from Yamen and a wonderful bass line from Chris, the drums are top notch!
An excellent mix and an all round great collab, congratulations to everyone involved, very much enjoyed!!

OK, I turned it way up after reading that
You four guys are great. This sounds like you're all together in the club. Feter, you make the guitar feel your heart. Man, can you play that thing! Jack, the sax sounds soooo smooth. and bluesy, amazingly good. Chris, you play bass with soul and the drums are great. Yamen, the piano adds a lot to the feel, and your studio skill is outstanding. Kudos to you all, this is great.

Really nice to hear each of you strutting your musical skills. Love those quick guitar licks, the jazzy piano maneuvers, and that smokey sax playing. I also really like the organ a lot but I wish it got some time in the front.

The mellow ending is just right. Great way to go out.

To be honest, I know 8 licks, just mix them up. I generally play one measure then bend into the next. It is all about the phrasing, I have a saying for guitar players "You can make it scream, but can you make it sing" Your group of talented musicans made it SING! Thanks for the compliment . . .

wow...
this is great.... would you guys mind if i used this in a sequence in my new film.. nothing big just like a 30 second clip over a montage scene... i think this would fit perfect......i just can't decide what part of the song to cut for it.... there is a great buildup around 4:00 i think but i could be wrong..... really great track though.... doesn't need anything.... period....
