Lyrics
at first she’s red
a rusty rouge
then blushing blue
in her ascent
i find refuge
empyrean
rendezvous

vespers sing
shine light upon my face
enrapture me
with luminous grace
dark and light
collide intertwine
our dance begins
in flames
of florid
eventide
eventide

Haven't heard music in a long, long time
This is very good. I love the soundscape you're painting up, both in instruments, with your excellent voices, as well as the lyrics. I can't put this on the musical map other than you yourself; unique. The only suggestions would be to not repeat the two verse section, perhaps collaborate ion the lyrics more, and perhaps find a surprising, different brake in there somewhere. The song has a lot of potentials in my ears! I find the lyrics very interesting, almost surrealistically mad. Happy, happy to hear you again! /Mikki

Wow Mikki!
You're right...the song structure still needs something else. I am happy to get your suggestion, and will add to the lyrics as well. I'm going away for the weekend, but will be brewing ideas for a 2nd version. Thank you so much for taking time to leave such a nice and in depth comment!! It is I who is happy to hear from YOU:)

thumb piano
how cool is that. Wonderfully surreal track. You definitely let it unfold in its own space. Lots of room for the listener to day dream.

Intoxicating
The thumb piano works so well with your drum sound design. You have quite a unique musical imagination. This another one of your tracks that works its magic on you slowly like a big glass of shiraz. I guess i would add something there at that break midway through the song but you really have something here so I hope you finish it.

Ahhh...
I remember listening to you a long time ago (on MacJams). It's refreshing, returning to your library. Your style has subtle hip-hop elements... I admire your technical skill. Really catchy stuff. Your vocals remind me of Juliette Lewis, especially when she sang The Prodigy's "Hot Ride." And the poetry... The poetry is good. Your pen and tongue both have a knack for stringing syllables naturally together. Ahhh, this is pleasant. I'll be around for the next one.

Work for it.
Very original in all aspects. Cool sounds, quirky structure. The singer reminds me of Universal Hall Pass. This song takes some effort to listen to, but rewards the listener with some unique and fabulous sounds. I really like the sub bass harmonics that kick in halfway through. Thanks for pushing the creative envelope.
