Smiling memories Nice straight forward flatpicking. A joy to hear. i lived on an Indian reservation for a year and nearly every Saturday night a bunch of use would get together a jam - inn a bug farmhouse with a wood stove, loosely fitted wood floors and a slightly out of tune upright piano. thank you folks Tobin, those can be such wonderful things to remember. I was relating to a friend of mine how this style of music is very grounding for me, and that I like the attitude it seems to put me in. He couldn't relate to that at all, but he had been touring in a bluegrass band for years and I guess that put it into a different frame of reference for him. Gratefully making its way to iMac and iPod... I like hearing it at this sort of a tempo better, actually, than, say, Clarence White taking it at super breakneck speed... Although pure speed for its own sake is sometimes jaw dropping and fun, I also like to hear the flow of the melody coming through... Nice bit of bass here, too...
