Description
Not necessarily a dirge like here, sometimes we played it perky; in the band days we split with with male female voices sharing verses then singing last verse together. I'm always embarrassed to go over four minutes when Ray Davies could land such huge classics in two. Someday I'll buy some equipment, but for now this is it.

Lyrics
They All Fall Like Dominoes For You

There's nobody in my life
No one to satisfy like you did, dear
No one before or since could ever make much sense
Of mine
No one's been serious
No one's been curious about me
While they all fall like dominoes for you

I always meet someone
Who's having too much fun for me, dear
I always stumble on someone who's stumbled on
Someone else
I always hesitate, then find out it's too late
For me
While they all fall like dominoes for you

Someday we'll meet again
But who knows where or when
I don't dare
Sometime you'll open wide
This love I know you hide
For me there
Until then I'll just wait
I guess it's just my fate to be alone
While they all fall like dominoes for you
You're so lovely, they just do

When I was a little kid, early on a Saturday morning, my clock radio came on, and it was perpetually tuned to world-famous KRLA AM radio, and Johnny Burnette's "You're Sixteen" started playing, with that thrilling violin intro. I almost came out of m... [see more]
