Lyrics
When I see you early in the morning,
I just think, “How lovely you were born.”
And I know how lucky I am, love.

When you look at me, my heart is full.
When you hold me, I am very sure
That this feeling will not ever pass.

In your arms, I’ve found a peaceful place.
In your eyes, I find a lovely space where
I can rest and know I’m always safe.

Yesterday, you were just a dream.
I didn’t know you, love.
We were strangers then.
But you appeared just when I was lost
And drifting aimlessly.
You were there.
You touch me, love;
Held me in your arms, my love.
So long ago, you touched my heart.

Easy to love this
Another Page from Paul's Parade of Pastiche. Fit for a Broadway musical. Keep up the good work, Paul. Easy listening introspection. What's not to love here?

This brings to mind,
something I might have expected to hear somewhere in Les Misérables. Excellent vocal Paul and the backtrack fits it perfectly.

You never cease to amaze me with your music Paul, and now with your lyrics and singing as well.

Bravo Maestro

Right From the Heart...
Is the place from which the most genuine of music springs. And so it is, here, in this lovely song.

Nicely done, Paul. Musical material, for sure. ;)

The ultra love song!
and yes, this should be on Broadway. Most of us only dream of a love this strong. You and she are truly blessed, and we are blessed to hear your songs.

Yep. Another one.
The hero steps to the center of the stage. Single spot. Everything goes dark.... Maybe a soft light at some other spot on stage picks up his true love doing true love kinds of things...

I tell ya, man, I think loving gratitude is one of the best places from which to write a lyric....
