Description
Been posting mostly folkie stuff, felt like rocking out a little. This is more of a riff than a song. An opportunity to jam with myself.

Smooth...
Thanks, John. Really enjoying your music! Did you do the harmonica, too? You listen to Bill Mumy? This reminded me a little of his stuff.

thanks
..man. Yeah, I played the harp. Don't play it much lately, but I used to a lot when I was younger. Great instrument, because you can play in the car, waiting for the bus, etc. Don't know Bill Mumy. I will check him out. Thanks for the listen.

Ballsy
to go shooting pool in a place called "Troubletown". Nice step outside your normal process, and you didn't miss a beat on the great storytelling. some great guitar work lurking in with the great harmonica, too.

JW you got another knock. Congratulations, I am proclaiming you have a direct connection to the source.
By the way, I got a couple of things I'm working on and I need that guitar player, can you spare him?

Heheh...

A folkie stepping out. And pretty dang good stepping out at that. John, I will definitely check out your other music. I can relate to your bio... My guitar/singing side was my alter ego in music. You named many of the same groups that I was drawn to and learned the songs of.

cheers...

This is the first of your songs I've heard
and I really like this. You've got a lot going on in this, without overdoing it. Great Bass line, and guitar sound. Love that back tracks feel.

Very good story telling and an awesome vocal John. I will be checking out some of your other tunes as I can.

Kudos for this on for sure,

Ed

Nice groove and sweet tones all around
Has a little J.J. Cale feel to it - which is real nice - I think it's in the finger picked electric tone. Excellent.
