Splendid, simply
Love it; (cuts off at the end?) but I think it conveys the message you wanted with the title and the picture Mrs. Curry took.

Thanks for letting us be involved!

Short and Sweet
Very nice, Johannes! Very short, but it seemed like just the right length to me. Always a pleasure to hear you play.

Very pretty
I really like this and it makes me think of a sad love song. Soothing, yet heart breaking if that makes any sense. Regardless, it is beautiful and I really enjoyed it! Thanks!!

Excellent
piece - superbly played and recorded. The sky in the picture (which looks just like the sky here today) fits the mood perfectly.

interesting
the response to this is pretty interesting. I mean, you have plenty of more adventurous pieces, many that are a lot longer, many that have more flights of fancy. But this simple piece seems really to have touched many people deeply. That's interesting to me...
I like this a lot, and it's inspiring in its simplicity. Thanks for the inspiration!

You nail somehting significant
Yes Jim. You nail somehting significant here. There is a lot to say about simpliciy. I didn't want to expand on the issue in the song description, but what you write here I've been pondering over a lot — in connection to this piece particularily.

On my own scale, the highest of artworks are creations that are simple and at the same time filled — with ... something ... meaning ... or whatever be the approriate term.

Such pieces doen't happen every day. As any jamming musician I can create a dozen pieces a day, but these special ones we are talking about here; simple, meaningfilled, "off-cliché" pieces, they aren't "creatable", they rather "come". It is as if they already had life and form, and just need to be clothed. For me personally this happen rarely; not as often as once a year.

The simple pieces also require a lot from the performance; presence, timing, nuance etc. Actually I've tried to record this one many times during the last three years, but I've not become satisfied. I am not totally satisfied with this recording either, but hope that one day I'll be able to nail it the way I want it. In that case I'll be back here to post...

I could almost imagine...
,,,singing Tolkien's 'The Road Goes Ever On and On' over it... (If it were a bit longer)....

A very nicely reflective piece, Johannes, and once again very well recorded...

Maybe there should be a MacJams 'H2 Club' or something... Continues to seem to be a remarkable little device...

Johannes
This song is almost more a question than an answer, and perhaps that's where you want it to be? It's great, simple, clean, yet so short? I remember you doing long, well thought out songs. Perhaps this is a concept, or meant to be this short? We simply do not know. What is in here however, is very melancholic. With the chosen art graphic – and I do not know what you mean – but it makes me sad. And sadness is sometimes good, you know. If I can correct myself, not sadness, nor melancholy, but longing. Now, I long. For, something.

Easy does it
Nice and gentle. At the halfway point I was expecting something to change, like adding a flute or a new direction to the chords.
