Description
Are we really living in a world where most people are concerned mostly about themselves?

Matthew 6:3

This started from the bass line and grew from there. I had no idea where this was going. The freesound voice samples finally made this snap into place.

Yep I guess so
Ego is a big problem in the world, and money is the evil tool, it makes us greedy... But that's not all true, cos for all the poor workers is about surviving, they are more like slaves so the rich man can be more rich... Sorry!! but that hove I see about it.

Nice song I had to listen twice as your question had my first attention, but maybe that was what you wanted?
As always I love what you do my friend.

Peace
Kenta

Well, there you are enlightened self interest. Great job on the production, that solo in the outro cuts through, the slow bends are effective.

DLed. this, for sure, is my cup of tea. but even after my 4th listen, it still feels a bit abrupt at 1:36 when the "buddha gebed borobudur.wav" comes in.

oh, okay, i'll pay up.

1:36
is where it's at! Well timed; I like the choral voices there, too. Despite the 'rough; sounds, it's a very gentle song.

Interesting build
Starts "loud", then the break at 1.36 and then a slow build towards the end. Well done as usual! /Henke

Unfortunately, yes
2 Tim 3:1-3 really describes it well. Your sound stories leave room for interpretation, which is quite cool, and you find the perfect sound effects for them.

I don't GET...
...the moocher business, but my hearing isn't all that good, either! I really liked each section of this intriguing number, esp. the bass lead about 1/2 way through. You have a very fine sense of what works orchestration-wise. The brass (?) interpolation about 3/4 is great and takes the piece so nicely into the final section. With actually very simple elements (a recurring, mantra-like chord pattern) you have created a piece that captures and keeps one's attention in somewhat of a trance-like fashion. I enjoyed this number.
Peace.

Had to listen... the title demands it.

And I am not disappointed. Smokey... you got a real cool tune going here. What a groove-beat. Really, this is infectious. And then such am abrupt and subtle change. The voices in the background... the horns. This thing is, did I say, infectious. And bringing home with that pad electric guitar thing (whatever it is, I don't know). But it seals the deal. Big kudos WV man... (my first granddaughter was born there, btw).

The vocal break round 2:10 is good and a nice transition to the next section. Good instrumentation and arrangement.

Eclectic, at best. I learned some music theory at school, and read a ton about it since. I've listened to lots of music over the years. I once played guitar in an actual garage band and actually got paid to play! Once. Although live performance is an... [see more]
