Description
An old tune from very way back when which I found inside my recently returned to the land of the living Takeharu WK-150.....I was just trying to play the brand new set of strings in so those of you with the annoyingly sensitised ears may hear it going out of tune as it progresses...I call it alternate tuning ..Dropping E A D G B and E !!

Russ hi
thanks again for your support, but what do you/they mean by 'chops'
time to plead ignorant to that term....took me ages to learn the difference between a riff and a lick too......still if one will practice solitary music since boyhood what do I expect! ? Glad it sounded okay.Cheers, Chris.

Sounds like my guitar does normally
Can't say I hear anything wrong with it Chris. (but then again, I am about deaf) ha ha

Sounds fine to me and some pretty fair pickin' goin' on. The main thing is you were having some fun with it after getting it back from the nether world.

Nice bit of picking Chris, sounds good to me.

Well
after making all the fuss I found that I had posted the least offensive version,I had a version where you can quite clearly hear the geetar going out of tune on the E and A strings...but hey ho such is the continuing saga of disaster that is my life. I can even break photocopiers by standing next to them,I am banned from one office at my workplace...!!

It is a good old tune
isn't it, I have a fistful of these, sort of a trade secret 'cos you never know what reaction you're going to get from PC minded addlepated clodpolls that inhabit our shores. I think that this is a wonderful invention, this Broyle.....I'm sorry I'll feel that again!

Great performance, a true talent.
Add a banjo and it is completed.
You even add some boogie woogie!

Well thanks
I seem to have benefitted here from teaching myself the guitar in isolation for so many years that I do not even know if I am doing the proper techniques....I just try to make the guitar sound like the music,if you get my meaning sort of thing.

alternate tuning ......
i have used this technique vocally for years . Give up the brit thing and just admit you and PB are in hiding southern boys. Nice on Jarvo. I am quiet amazed you could do all that and not get your fingers all hung up in the strings.....I can't. You are quiet mad. :-]

Glad I got bad ears
Cause it was a wonderfully warm and delightful tune from begining to end! Curious how far didga travel in the "way back" machine to retrieve it... Sounded as if ya ended up on one of those way back porches... A different kinda lovely from you, but thankfully, lovely is always, lovely...

Thanks! Dion

Blimey
I dug this up from memory of playing it on the Ukelele as a kid back in the 70s from a book that me gran had (she played piano),I think it is very old possibly a spiritual or song from the old plantation days ...I must have a root see if I can find the old book.....Thanks Dion, for the good words.

out of tune
let me tell ya its one of my favorite past times. My guitar is such a piece of crap that I'm way out by the middle of a song. I like the spontnaity of this sounds like you had fun. When you get to the fast faster part its like it all falls into place, You definitly found the groove to this. A real nice journey thanks I enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed listening
as much as I enjoyed playing a simple but tuneful melody...I enjoyed not having the pressure of thinking ..do not cock this up because you will have to do it again...sort of pressure I feel when multi tracking ,...aned I didn't cock up..wahay Cheers
