Description

This is the original version, which Tempie heard as a demo, slightly spruced up and fettled. I was reluctant to post this, seeing that Craig did such a good job of interpreting the tune, but I'm pretty proud of the song overall so here it is.

This is a more straight up 80's Indie Rock flavoured Metropolitanne, complete with rotor cabinet effects and a plinky solo!

since i did a 2 1/2 hour commute at 4am this morning i deserve firsts on this. hope nobody bumps me while i'm trying to figure out something witty to say. well forget witty its just a cool tune and its been in my head for 2 weeks straight and i still like it. now maybe Ridd will do a bon iver approach...

	Guitar solo... ... I'm kinda glad Craig dumped the solo and the bridge because it makes his version more "his". That pleases me no end, 'cos his take is so gloriously tempified. This is cool ..not sure this is 80s ...I heard
mid 90s high quality rockin wall of sound here ..
the guitars sound so great ...definitely a very
powerful set of a band here ...top notch mixing .

Ok, I've listened to both versions, and I like this one best. It clearly needed some help: your vocals are sometimes out of tune and the guitar solo is, eh, eh, eh....

That said, the collab version is too refined for me. Good vocals and guitar, but the mix is clean to the point of being thin and lacking energy. I think your denser sound serves the song better.
