Frankie lived down by the Delco Plant
He worked the night shift making battery acid
After work each night he’d go down to Kelly’s
Get drunk and drive on home and watch him some T.V.

Friday night Frank decided to do it up right
Scored a couple ‘a Tulenols and a Jim Beam pint
Went up to Kelly’s lookin’ for his girl June
Found her with some Airforce guy dancin’ to a slow tune.
And he’s a good joe.

Frankie drove back home and picked up his gun
A .38, enough to get the job done
But back at Kelly’s things didn’t turn out so good.
And Frankie bought that farm
