It's how to paint an ordeal. Apples and water ... paisley shaped neighborhoods... You treat this important event much as I'd imagine John Prine would. Keeping the raw nerves largely to yourself, refusing to be maudlin in public, and instead painting us a picture of the haze surrounding the ordeal. About that left track guitar coming and going, starting at 1:41, you could always pan that to the center where it wouldn't be so jarring. Check out my latest song called The Devil Beat Me to Her

I think I might have heard this too! I am sorry to hear about your sister my friend. My sister is all I have left in the world beyond my immediate family. It would kill to lose her.
