Description
Basses: Drew Kopr (Andrew Koplan)
Guitars: ziti (Fran Dagostino)
Keyboards: KTB (John Libby)
Horn keys: Bill Birney
Arrangement and production: perceptualvortex (David Thomas)
This song began many months ago, when Drew sent me some killer bass to work with. I solicited the help of two of my favorite 'Jammers, ziti and KTB, and my co-worker Bill. Recordings of great playing came pouring back, and I had an absolute glut of cool keyboards and guitars to mix in. In fact, making room for all of the coolness was probably impossible, but I tried. The result is a bit of a whirlwind, but even after a coupla zillion listens while mixing, this tune hasn't even begun to get old to my ears.
Drew, this was a total blast, thank you for getting it started. And thanks Bill, John and Fran for kicking in your great playings.
The art is a photoshopped excerpt from a reproduction of a painting originally made for a Marvin Gaye album. It was hanging behind my co-worker Billy's desk, and it looked like this song sounds.
