Description
In honor of the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, here's a song I wrote for the 20 year reunion in 1989. This is a brand new version and recording with all new production of that long ago song, and you'll be the first to hear it. Enjoy !

Peace

A little Southern Comfort for ya Feter
Thanks for bringing Woodstock back this year my friend. I was hoping it would happen again.

And thank too, for listening and the kind words, On quite a few of my other songs from the past I just added to the original tracks and remixed them in together with the new tracks. On this one I did a complete redo and didn't reuse anything from the original song, so the nice comments feel pretty good to me,

Glad you liked the new version Feter.

Glad you liked the new version neighbor. Thinking of it now, I should have had you do som Dulcimer parts on it instead of the canned parts I used.

Glad you like the way it turned out my friend. Thanks again for listening,

Are you bragging, or complaining, Vic
Just thought I'd ask, of course if you answer, I won't remember it tomorrow anyway, but that happens to "Old" people often, they just don't realize it's happened.

Thanks for listening and the kind words Vic, you young whipper snapper.

Be well my friend,

tearing down the walls
This song is so cool. Gritty, gutsy, driving beat and yet you retain that good ol boy country feel underneath it all. Music performance is excellent and creative, and your vocals are perfect for the song. My favorite of yours yet - nice job - thanks for the share.

Really glad you liked it my friend. Thanks too for the great comments on it, does an old man good to hear such things. It's an old song that was in need of this complete makeover. I'm happy with the way it came out too.

Bangin Bass
you have kind of a "sly and the family stone" thing going on with this song. I like it. A little funky for a white guy arent you? LOL. Not sure how, but this mix sounds almost live. Enjoyed it! keep it on goin!
sloparts said 98 days ago (August 20th, 2009)
Thanks Charles
To tell you the truth, I wasn't always a Country kinda guy, and I wasn't always a white guy either. At least that what some of my former band-mates used to say, anyway.

Glad you liked the new version of this 20 year old song. I think this time I may have finally done it justice.

Thanks again for listening and the kind words Charles,
