Hard Rock Woman

Verse 1

Hell ain't got no fury, like a woman who's been scorned

As angry as she is, she'll make you sorry you were born

A Hard Rock Woman, with the Devil in her eyes

Well you - can - run, but you can't hide

Hard - Rock - Woman has - blood in her eyes, and your a one - the one who made her cry

Chorus

Got a Hard Rock Woman, comin' your way

Hard Rock Woman, and she's gonna make you pay

Hard Rock Woman she was a funky child

Now she's a Hard Rock Woman with blood in her eyes

She's a Hard Rock Woman

Verse 2

She don't have no mercy on the object of her fate

You turn up the charm, but buddy it's too late

All she wants now, is to send your soul to hell

Well you - can - run, but you can't hide

Hard - Rock - Woman has - blood in her eyes, and your a one - the one who made her cry

A Hard Rock Woman

Bridge

It ain't good to play, with a young girls heart

Cause a Hard Rock Woman will tear you apart

You did it to yourself, by telling all those lies

Now that Hard Rock Woman - she can't hear your cries

I said a Hard Rock Woman

Chorus

Got a Hard Rock Woman, comin' your way

Hard Rock Woman, and she's gonna make you pay

Hard Rock Woman she was a funky child

Now she's a Hard Rock Woman with blood in her eyes

She's a Hard Rock Woman

Ending:

Hard Rock Woman. She gonna make you pay

Hard Rock Woman, gonna lock you a-way

Hard Rock Woman, Another Hard Rock Woman

Gonna make you cry

Thanks you Feter
For putting on the Woodstock II festival, and for the kind words on my song. This is an interim version of the song. Hopefully, in a while Bob6 will join me on stage and we'll put the magic together again, like we did on "Good Time Girl"

Thanks again for listening my friend. Be well and be cool,

Ed

Thanks Dave
Glad you enjoyed this one Dave, and I very much appreciate the kind words you left me on it.

I'm not done with this one yet though. Bob6stringer and I are gonna do some more work on it where he's going to be dong the guitar work on it. At least that's the plan anyway.

But I decided, since Feter had started up the Woodstock Festival again, to go ahead and post what I had already done, just for kicks and to get some feedback on it as it is.

Thanks again for listening Dave. Be well and be cool my friend,

Ed

Woodstock ll or Nashville
This sounds like Nashville to me. The guitar driven track puts a smile on a bad situation from the sounds of things.
That bass line is excellent on here, supporting the rest of the goings on just right...My hat is off!

Southern Rock, Woodstock style
Well, maybe not, but a hell of a lot of fun, never the less. Actually this is a Bass driven song from the get go. Other than a simple drum track for timing, the Bass track was the first thing I did on this. The rest of it just blossomed from there.

Thanks for listening James, and the very kind comments on it, it is appreciated.

Be well and be cool my friend,

Ed

Thank you Maurice
Really happy you stopped to listen, and enjoyed this one. Been working on it for 2 months, and not done with it yet, but I thought I'd post it for the Woodstock Festival.

I think we ought to make the Woodstock Festival an annual event. Get some folks up and playing again, like we used to play back then.

Thanks again for listening and the kind words Maurice, it is appreciated.

Chris Ledoux huh. That's some powerful work you're talking there my friend. He was the real deal, while I'm just a pretender to the throne.

But I thank you for the comments and the reference, I take it as an extreme compliment. Thanks for coming and listening, Ice, it is very much appreciated.

Charlie Daniels is good
I don't mind that connection at all, although I think this is a little more Rock than Charlie is likely to play. Not that he couldn't mind you, just that he probably wouldn't.

Glad you enjoyed the song Dave and I do appreciate the kind words you left me on it.

Be well and be cool my friend,

Ed

something new every day. I like what I've herd of Charlie Daniels, but I missed his earlier stuff. I didn't know about his "Rock" side.

Thanks for that Micheal,

Another Mississippi Queen bites the dust! Ha ha...
A little Charlie Daniels Band when it kicks in...

I really like this one Ed. Lotsa funk n' fiery licks. Really dig the turnaround riff too. An awesome bit of tuneage bro!

Be well!

Glad you liked the way it turned out my friend. Had a blast working on it, and I'm pretty tickled with the way it sounds. Love the reference to Charlie Daniels too, even though I associate him more with "The devil went down to Georgia" and songs like that than I do songs like this. Maybe I need to go back and check out some of his earlier stuff.

Thanks again for listening Micheal, It is appreciated,
