Description
I'd forgotten how much fun it was to play with loops.

Lots of sonic mud. Play it loud!

quick sand
vrs. deep mud - either way, you could get stuck.

Sounds like you built the bridge over the dilemma, however. Nice one, Joe!

Great!
Love your work Joe, as a whole, always have. I love where this goes. Epic sound. Growing up in an area of the Southwest US that only gets 14" of rain per year I must say that mud is a mighty important thing and ranks right up there with the miracle of snow. Fond memories of playing in said mud puddle. Love the snare!

Absolutely cool track
but where is the ambient one you thought you posted ;-) This rock instrumental (or whatever) is very cool, though! One of the better titles around here, I gather :-) Thanks for sharing.

Joe
This one really turned out well. Driving theme and it has enough elements and very tasteful ones to take your mind away from the fact that there is a loop there. The drums are great too. Very professional job.

Thanks!
I appreciate the comments everyone. This is the first time I've taken part in one of the LIOLI challenges and it was a blast. It's been a long time since I've played with loops (other than drum loops). I'd really forgotten what fun it could be. Thanks to chikoppi for getting this rolling. I haven't had the chance to listen to all the entries yet, but hopefully I'll get around to the soon. Looking forward to the next challenge!

Cool track
I like the way it progresses from ambient to the marching snares and then guitar. Interesting track.

I'll Tell You What Would Happen
Music and weirdness, brilliance and genius acts of sonic unexpectedness.

Starts subtle, and then builds so smoothly that you get swept into the grand drama like a group of large and extraordinarily well-dressed guys has hustled you into a stretch limousine and is now speeding through the streets of a foreign city...... and then you're back on a street corner in the warm rain, alone, and the limo is gone. What just happened? You look around, nervous......

Bloody marvelous. Demented geniusness to the nth factor.

it is dark and thick
it increases tension. an important addition is the snare drum. it is a perfect sound whilst storming through a mud puddle. 0x0
