Great lyrics David
But then I've come to expect that from you. Love the sound in your guitar, and the rest of the backtracks, that really worked on this song.

The one thing I noticed production wise was that the vocal was pretty far back in the mix. It was still very clear, and the lyrics came though ok but it didn't seem to have the drive the song needed because of the volume being down like that.

Of course you have to keep in mind that I'm the guy with the hearing problem, so I'd check with some others to see if it is down, or it's just my ears, again.

Great song my friend and again, I love the lyrics and your vocal on this.

The mix...
I worked on that "back seat vocal" on this mix, having read some stuff about layering EQ. The drum kit (a mixture of Gband instruments) is a little sloppy, but I think it adds to the "live" sound. And BTW - it took more than a few takes to get all that guitar lead work down. I'n not much of a "shredder." Thanks for your kind words!

	Yes this is a rockin' tune! Some nice Bostonesque guitar work throughout. Organ definitely gives it a 70s 80s big arena rock vibe. And the crowd/applause ending is a nice touch to hammer it home. I think that's a legacy from .MP3 to .AIF to .MP3... something like that. I hear it sometimes when a file has been converted more than once, so that's my guess.
Thanks for all the praises! Not my "native genre", but I am a huge fan of the era. I played top-40 rock in the 70s for several years, so it's kind of in my blood I guess.
