Description
OK, Thanks for all the comments on previous versions (I owe a lot of people reciprocal comments!). This should be it. A few things have changed mostly in the mix. But the vocal over the bridge is new. This album is finished now I think. It runs to 11 tracks and now tells a story I hope. Thanks for listening and for all comments on the various tracks.

Footprints in the Sand - Final
Very big soundscape, and excellent choices of complementary sounds. I liked the guitar solo - I wish I could play like that. I can almost see the hero trudging through the sands after enduring great hardships.

Did I hear this before
Ah, yes I did! But I enjoyed it at least as much this time. Can't say exactly what differs, though, or if it's better or worse - it still "rocks". And it still sounds like Jarre at some points and TD at some, and I guess Enigma at others, if I can trust the bandit on that... All mixed in the masterful fashion of our own Wharmton Rise.

Thank you and take care.

Nice guitarish solo. Liked that a lot. Fantastic use of the vocal samples. Top production, as always. Reciprocal comments? You don't owe anybody anything. If you want to comment, then comment. If not, fine. We will still listen to your wonderful music.

Great sounds
It all sounds really good. The guitar sound is even on a "holy shit" level. That's played on a keyboard?!

But I'm trying to figure out how it all hangs together. Couple of female vocal sections (not all the same voice?), one tuvan-like male, one guitar solo, several keyboard sections. Lovely orchestral strings in the background... What's it all mean?

Heh
Good question! Thanks for the comment.

All these voices including some of the more standout synth voices are used in other tracks on the album. There are two distinct female voices on here. In essence the whole thing is supposed to hang together as a concept within the album and not necessarily the individual tracks. The male nose flute/tuvan voice carries over from Sea of Japan, the rising fluteish motif at the beginning and within the 'bridge' section in here carries over from The Abyss track. I hope that helps you to make sense of it!

Thanks again for listening.

Final????
lol - promises promises - i predict you'll find some way you want to tweak it ONE MORE TIME!! Andrew, this is sensational! I'm really loving the voices, specifically the female voices. i can understand if vic has heard this track ONLY, how it might not feel like it hangs together, but having a sense of the bigger picture, it does that just fine for me. this is mesmerizing!

Your Sound Soother is
light years beyond mine in its technology. Who is singing? Space is expanding to let in a new super nova. That means I think this is fabulous.
And, I'm always right. Chicks Rule! Thank you.

Killer guitar!
That is something that just implies longing. The voices are glorious, especially the operatic sounding ones. Enjoyed it all. Thank you.

water is sublime
it is deep, it flows across us all. there are many ripples from many countries. it seems to caress the soul. your skill and style begin to approach m. cretu. it is a thing of beauty. you should be proud of such an accomplishment. 0x0

Awash in rhythm
You have captured just the right balance between forward drive and floating serenely in the sweeping synths. Vocals are brilliant little highlights here and there. Overall a fully immersive listening experience.

Doug

i like the picture of you!
This has a slightly retro sound and feel to it. It's an interesting combination of the ethnic vocals, retro synth sounds and electric guitar. definitely creates a strong picture in my mind and tells a story. i love the use of the strings in the background to move the song along. excellent. congrats on the completion of this series!
