Peace.... ...personified. Such a lovely track, Gail, played with your gentle touch. The minor key is a perfect choice for a "Sweet September" song with falling leaves and the hint of seasons to come. I agree with Eduard: you pull subtle yet deep emotion from the piano and have laid out a rich pallet that is simple and accessible without having to be anything more than just what it is. Drak's right... ...as regards the George Winston feel, and I think you've done well with it... Has that quality that his tune 'Thanksgiving' has... How do you do that? How do you pour such poignant emotion down your arms and into my ears? Such a gift you have... thank you for sharing it with us. This has a strong "George Winston" quality to the repeated motifs, and the low strings are a nice addition. They were a teeny bit overpowering near the very end, but softened back down OK for the last chords... sigh. Another download for my gail-the-tearjerker collection.
