Description
This strange little track I did a while ago with the simple inspiration of creating a soundscape I hadn't heard before. Recently my sister told me that she likes it, which is nice (she also took that awesome photograph which I'm using without asking), and whenever I download a few songs from MacJams I try to upload one in return.

Pure elegance
You are a gifted composer, Mr. Parichayaka. I am in awe of your ability.

You always choose wonderful sounds in combination, and use them magically.

Thank you for posting your beautiful compositions here.

warm confidence
it exudes from the pores. it drips off the steamy leaves of the rainforest. it crystalizes on her skin. it cuts breathtaking chasms into her. she smiles with knowledge of her beauty. she is mother nature. this music paints a picture of her confidence. thank you. 0x0

what a beautiful comment. thank you for that! I just complimented Paul on his use of language, but you are better with words than I am with my keyboard.

Mist...
There is a lot going on here that is so very pleasant and tasteful. I have the feeling of many varied loops gathered together to create an integrated whole, with, of course, some melodic elements that are improvised. If this is the way this composition all came together, then it's quite remarkable that you kept all those balls in the air with such an adroit hand. The overall effect is magical, settling, and inherently calming. .... Wonderful to hear your work again..............
Peace.

Thanks Paul
Your use of language to describe the subtleties in music is remarkable, just like your own wonderful compositions. I think I started with the Glockenspiel/mallets in this track, then played in the percussion and bass. The flute solo was last - there are in fact two samples, sparkling water and a bell tree - the rest is midi. Again, thank you as always for your eloquent description and encouragement.

Beauty
It amazes me how you and other great composers can capture all the beauty of what they're portraying. I hear the mountain climber's lines sliding, the ice crystals a lone hawk winging by in the icy air, the danger lurking just under the surface, and the sun on my face. Thank you for all the art. :-)

crystal clarity
You can smell the sharp crispness in the air in this mix. I think the single descriptive word I would choose... elegance. This has a "rich sparseness" that is quite compelling. it is sleek, with just the right touch here and there, not too much. Gorgeous work, and something for me to study and strive for.

Tranquil and beautiful arrangement, i am wondering how you made the bass sound so rich.
This is like a meditation with the sound and image in mind.

Funny you should mention
meditation in your bio because that is what I thought of when I heard this song. Peaceful, open, glassy sound which is perfect for meditation. Enjoyed it

Truly Unique Soundscape
Your selection of sonic elements and structure within the soundscape have a unique isolation of sounds within their own space working in concert as one. Come around more often with gems like this. Cinematic score for sure.

A common sensation I get when listening to your music is of flying over a landscape. With Way Out Somewhere, it's a busy city (which I guess is technically a cityscape..) and with this, probably because of your sister's luscious photograph I feel as though I'm soaring between glaciers and over snowfields. Your music is like aural dreams.

I love the key change, especially that it unexpectedly goes down, and I couldn't agree more with Jim that the bass sound is incredibly great. Until I read your reply to Paul, I was sitting here thinking, "I didn't realize Pari also played the bass".

Thank you for sharing your music here. I always enjoy it so much. -L

Beautiful
I am drawn in by the music to a much calmer place than I was few minutes ago… It is true, as others have said, that this would work wonderfully as soundtrack music, but you'd have to choose the visual images carefully so as not to distract from the music… For me, the music is enough… I want this to go on for about 18 more minutes… This is very inspiring.

I can see
what all the attention is about here. Lovely sounds so very nicely put together. As Linda said, very much a feeling of flying over land (or sea). If I had to pick an area that might be improved it would be that there seems to be a lack of "sparkle" in the production. Maybe some subtle "exciter" on the output track might just lift it a little more. A very minor issue though of course.

Lovely post.

wow tell your sister nice photo!
this has an incredible depth, an amazing 3D placement. wonderful use of panning. it's an interesting combination of sounds, creating, as you said, a unique soundscape. the calm of the meditational fountain amidst constant movement and change and pressure. wonderfully done. i'm going to have to listen to this over and over to figure out how you've done this. brilliant work.
