Lyrics
Sorry, I’m Sorry, What am I Sorry for?
Living a life that’s void of you,
With only myself to see me through.

Confusion, Confusion, Each time I think I’ve Won I lose.
Tables turned in so strange a way,
The natural man has to be dismayed.

Truth has caught a hold of me. The reflection of this soul I see
Something black and dark as night,
But your love will win this fight
By your sword of truth...

One of the hardest jobs
I ever did was to be a counselor in a rehab facility that specialized in people fighting this horrible disease. My boundaries and mis conceptions were thoroughly broken. My concept of courage and grace were redefined by the people I was blessed to meet . Well done Nigel and Kitty ... a wonderful tune ... a worthy project. Blessings to you both.

great job by everyone involved
great song !! rock solid all the way around...i like the way you kept the arrangement throughout. this song has a great ambience and you gently expanded on it. kudos to you for not overproducing and destroying the atmosphere that was inheritly there in the song's melody. the vocals remind me alot of alanis morissette, great job!! great pipes delivered with great control and care. the "Truth has caught hold of me. The reflection of this soul i see. Something black and dark as night." Great line. it's like reading Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell. Good luck with your campaign you have done a superb work of art, even better it's for a great cause. which makes you great artists and even better human beings.

All 3 of our posted ones use the same singer, my daughter Kitty (14). I am very proud of how well she trains herself. All of these tunes were written by a good friend and band mate, Jane. She no longer plays with us, but writes beautifully, her lyrics touch us deeply. Thank you for listening, I hope you enjoy the others as well!

Thank you for the thoughtful comment. I often quote Willy Wonka to Kitty when rehearsing... "Open your mouth a little wider when you speak." :P

Nice big sound - go Guy!
Kitty, your vocal here is really, really fantastic - what a voice! Love the instrumentation too - the keys sound really full. Lovely guitar and bass too. This is one where percussion works as well as a full kit (although I'd have put drums in there).

Did I mention how good Kitty's vocals are? :)

Great song done brilliantly.

Nice big sound - go Guy!
Great comment, thanks! This version of the song we stuck with simpler percussion. The one on our album will have a "kit" but not a "kit", I think everyone will like what Tony can pull out of it. I'll leave it a secret for now :P
Kitty is excited that her voice is getting better, after being sick for so long it's a big deal that she can sing and people enjoy it again!

sweet!
Nice pauses, cool beat phrasing. Great voice, wow! I love those guitar harmonics. The arrangement on this piece is brilliant, and the production clear as an amnesiac's conscience. This reminds me of Dave Matthews Band's old ballad pieces. Really well done, guys! If I wasn't a broke-ass, I'd support the cause :P
