Unsettled... That unsettled/unresolved opening arpeggio that you keep going for a full minute is really engaging, Mark. Oh, what a full and sonorous SOUND you are achieving on this track... Ah, the slide at 1:48 or so is marvelous. I'd love to see you play this. You have such skill with your instrument and it is just wonderful to hear this kind (ah, the BEND at 2:34 is another tasty touch!) of superb guitar playing. Just letting yourself go on an improv like this is a special treat. Dynamics around 3:50 are perfect. Man, I love this piece. You are one talented guy and is such a pleasure to hear this kind of serious work. (Yeh. Slap it at 5:00. Nice.) In all ways,this is beautiful. Peace. Paul (P.S. It's actually an implied sea cucumber.The cucumber is a metaphor for the human condition- we are all like sea cucumbers waiting to die in a polluted sea of our own filth.Hopefully this message is clearly expressed in the music. Check out my latest song called Blues in Bm

The intro is improvised, the main riff and bridge was pretty much worked out.The whole middle is improvising over the same chord structure as the riff/bridge.(Main riff is basically just E7 to A7)I have to improvise in most of my songs or they would all be 1-2 min long!You are right about the glasses, I traded them for day-glow orange. The tune has great tone... ...and structure, but the provocative dancing of the sea cucumbers in the video just totally destroyed it for me... Although I CAN see you touring with a giant inflatable sea cucumber. THAT would be tasteful, and in a strange way, necessary. Perhaps inevitable...
