Do you have an idea how I can get rid of all that hiss? Any help, including downloading and sending me a de-hissed file would be greatly appreciated.
This was recorded - live again, on a portable Sony Minidisc. The stereo mics are home-made from radio-shack parts and internet plans.
This part 1 is of 2 or 3 parts - I haven't decided if the middle part will be included. This is actually the instrumental before a song, part 2 (if used) would be an instrumental and vocal interlude between the first two songs, and part 3 (or 2) is another instrumental closing the two song medley.
Unfortunately, just after I hit the Overdrive, the preacher started talking - so you don't get the really cool guitar part. This was a single pickup Vox electric hollow-body guitar (for more info check here: http//sites.g/... I'm not sure of the copyright implications so I won't include the well known songs in the medley - even though they recorded really well.
Someone was near one of the mics and accidentally brushed up against it - I cut out the worst of the popping, put it messed a little with the timing and remnants are still there. Sorry, but I really liked the music and pray that you do too.
