Lyrics
I took a guess,
that you didn't even have a clue
and how i wasted all my breath on you

I held you tight,
you couldn't even get a grip
and so I threw you from the sinking ship

you chose to not believe in anything
unless it was real to you
you chose to not take part in anything
that you couldn't sink your teeth into

you held the matches
and i struck the flame
you kept the ashes and
i took the blame
i called it drifting
and you weren't there
i wasn't listening
and you couldn't care
cause I found the difference
between you and i
its seems its the distance
between us; the sweetest goodbye

and now I'm staring back
at the bloody fangs
and you chew the fat
of all the things that you became

and i'm locked and loaded and taking aim

contrast
Are those your ez drummer drums?
They sound cool and the ability to change rhythm at different sections keeps stuff fresh.
I also like the contrast between the shouty vox and the melodic ones.
Gives the song much more depth.
Now if only I could hear a bass guitar I'd be made
But cool track anyway
cheers

oh my
KingBee you know that I never have any bass on any tracks ever because my bass is broken (bad input jack) and I am far too lazy and busy with grad school to fix it!!!

and those drums are Drumkit from hell EZDrummer beats....I am in love with them. in fact, thats how i write all these songs is by just putting beats together and then i spend maybe an hour tops just throwing riffs together. which makes me feel guilty that people compliment the arrangement...its more or less a frankenstein song-writing approach.

as for the guitar tones they are all direct with that zoom USB G2.1u pedal.....again, I'm super lazy, as soon as i decided I could avoid my crappy MXL990 and just DI I was all over it!!!!

I promise you all, one day I will put a lot of time in my takes, and really do it right...and even mix it....

but for now, thank you all so much for the compliments and constructive criticism!

:)
