desert sands I can see Hannibal coming over the mountains with a herd of armoured elephants heading towards Carthage Love that crunchy guitar smokey. This should be labeled parts 1.2 and 3. Great way it drops out completely and goes into another part of the song. Would have liked the bass up a bit more or a jah wobble kind of groove weaving through it but that's just me. Cool track Mr Bacon Check out my latest song called Dr.Thunderball-Bond theme challenge

Cheers I know what you mean about the bass. It's a devil trying to balance all this stuff isn't it? I wanted to keep the light elements light and the heavy elements well, heavy. but I think the bass needs boosting too. Check out my latest song called Hum

Nice one Paddler! the quote is from Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan: " Where Alph the sacred river ran, through caverns measureless to man, down to a sunless sea..." Check out my latest song called Hum

Nod Your Head Off! Guilty as charged! Oh Dr Bacon, how can get so heavy and spacious and eastern all at the same time? Because you're gifted! Great balance of contrasting sounds. That flute is so beautiful. It floats like a feather above your brutal guitar and drums stampede. This is good stuff. The vocal was a great element as well. Thanks for the download! You're too kind! Thanks for the nice comments! It was very tricky balancing everything out. It all sounded a bit muddy to start with, but much fiddling with EQ, compression and levels later it all started to come together... Check out my latest song called Hum
