Sweet In a pleasent way. Very glass-like in tone (not Philip Glass, though?! Possibly more like some Vangelis pieces, Antarctica perhaps). I wonder what would an actual glass piano, like the one in the picture, sound like? Probably not too good, is my thought... Looks nice enough though. Thanks for the download. Oh, I might add it sounds quite as good on a Sunday afternoon/evening :-) /Henke Check out my latest song called Heading for Alpha Centauri (mj space race 2009)

Glass Piano This is deep ...melancholy but with special mood like the story has some special sense and idea .. the tone of the piano is not natural it has some new dimension which bit magical bit psycho ...it has something very much Paul f Page these turns of the major chords which I know very much like a real sign or signature of your kind of writings ...this is a lovely piece with much joy for the flow and the mysterious story behind ..thank you so very much for sharing !!!! Mellow calming, beautiful and many other favourable words to describe this Paul, it sounds so magical. I could imagine this too as the music to one of those nature films where they show the growing process in slow motion so we can watch the buds pop open and the rose unfold before our eyes..... certainly delicate and glass-like though; the piano in the pic is beautiful too, cheers M Check out my latest song called Come Back Billie

I really like the little moments of dissonance about a minute in that give this a certain fragility. Interesting piece for sure. Check out my latest song called try not to think

A lovely tone and a lovely tune... I like the way it floats along... In the second half I found myself wondering what it would sound like with a single string like a bowed cello or string bass, with that furry, rosin-y sound... Sort of a burr against the chiming... Mixed emotions There's a wistfulness about this piece - a gentleness yet with something that is lost or being mourned amidst the beauty and calm. I love how you let the strings gracefully float up an octave at 2:46 with the rit. It's like a tenor hitting the high note but without the showyness. This can easily be a morning piece. I also feel a late afternoon, cloudy day, with the sun just peeking out orange yellow through a small crack in the clouds, reflected in the ocean. The orchestration is lovely - just enough to hold the gossamer web of the feeling of the aural space together - without any part getting too heavy and rending the ever so delicate atmosphere. Just out of curiosity, did you always have the dissonances or were they edited in as you developed the work? Beautiful Paul. Just beautiful. Be well, Doug Check out my latest song called Desiree (MJ Space Race 2009)

Oh, so beautiful... Thank you, Paul, for another hauntingly beautiful, slightly bittersweet, and completely satisfying piece of music. You produce these aural jewels so frequently that you make it seem as effortless and airy as your melodies. Cheers, Richard Check out my latest song called Dancing on the Head of a Pin

glass piano Each note is a pure drop of crystal hanging in the air. There is an eerie fragility in the smooth transitions from dissonance to resolution, back and forth so effortlessly. Your overall execution of your pieces show your true brilliance as a composer. The finished product always seems to be so true to what your vision of the piece was and is. Each detail, from the choice of the sounds, to the pacing of the music, to the use of dissonance and harmony, to the choice of a title. All of it together makes me want to cradle this piece carefully in my hands as I cup them to my ear and listen. Check out my latest song called Deep Majesty

or maybe by the time i get done gushing about this, other people will have posted their comments (we'll see!) this is beautiful work Paul - you have such a graceful touch on that piano, and this backing orchestration is the perfect addition for the atmosphere you've created here. love those little background echo thingees (technical term) - just gorgeous - congrats as always!
