Lyrics
I Ain’t Goin’ Dancin’ No More

Of all the girls in the ballroom
You’re the one I used to adore
You made me spin
You could do it again
But I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
No I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
If there’s one damn thing for sure
It’s that I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more

I’ve seen every twist in your tale babe
And I’ve heard it all before
Every lie on your lips
Every snake of your hips
But I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
No I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
If there’s one damn thing for sure
It’s that I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more

‘cause dancin’ never made it better
Dancin’ never made it right
An’ all of that movin’ and shakin’ babe
Only got me through the night
Only got me through the night

I’ve lived my life in limbo
Between a hard place and a floor
I’ve danced around
Never stood my ground
But I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
No I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
If there’s one damn thing for sure
It’s that I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more

‘cause dancin’ never made it better…

Been tangled up in tangos
Watched you waltz right out the door
How’d I feel?
Like a broken heel
‘cause I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
No I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more
If there’s one damn thing for sure
It’s that I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more

‘cause dancin’ never made it better...and I ain’t goin’ dancin’ no more

Nice warm
wholesome voice you've got and the harmonies by Karen are perfect... love the song and the lyrics.... took me back a bit at first with the rhythm change on the vocals, but I soon got into it and that's what helps make this song different.... nice banjo too, regards M

What a pretty song,
Nicely played and arranged, and not overplayed or oversung. Really enjoyed this: just the dose of melancholy I needed!
