Description
This song is based on accounts of the Tunguska Event of 1908 in Siberia.... I'd like to say this song is one part New Order/ one part Danny Elfman....
The stories surrounding the event are simply amazing and terrible all at the same time..... So I figured it was song worthy.....
This is from the next Spring Clock Wonder record entitled "Magnetar" which is dropping very very soon!
All sounds, instruments and vocals by Ian Baird
Additional snare drum by Dylan Jerrell (my oldest kid)

Lyrics
Whatever caused this blast is subject to debate
Whatever set this off we can't calculate
The natives fell off their feet when the blue column fell
The natives said Siberia was turned to hell
Read by fake sunlight
Under the bright nights in Tunguska
Shock wave registers straight into Eurasia
Shock wave ignites the dust for the duration
The pressure falls off balance make the sky God glow
The pressure turns like the tide lay the tundra low
That sinking feeling
That this has all gone wrong
They heard a sonic east to north
Singing the most horrid song
Shake the powder, Shake the powder off the ladies face
Move the fathers, Move the fathers on their knees for grace
Call the towers, Call the towers this will be a taste
On to devour, To devour miles from this base
The stratosphere has now become unstable
Please keep us near, as this has to be done

at the same time. Very hip. Vox are excellent. Love the harmonies. I would maybe turn the drum down a tad when it comes in louder. It overshadows the vox a bit. Other than that, it is perfect I think. Enjoyed it!
