Description
Initially, I hadn't a clue what this song was about. Just started by singing doggerel rhymes. But after a few lines, I realized my unconscious mind was onto a theme-- --the way we construct our own reality, and, at times, the fraility of that construction. (Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)
I like this one.Hope you do, too.

Lyrics
Pygmy Bone
Heard a broken wing made a bluebird sing
Took a long freight train, found a drop of rain
Saw my raw desire tucked into a spire
Rode a chestnut roan but the long way home
There’s no difference that I can find
Between what’s real and what goes on inside my mind
Saw a mountain goat sail a Viking boat
Heard the sound of wheels and the bark of seals
Walked a crooked path never did the math
Fed the man of steel a banana peel
The moon moves the tides we walk the ground
It all might disappear some night without a sound
Sniffed the summer grass smelled the circumstance
Closed the bedroom door walked the ocean floor
Gleaned from summer fields while the church bells pealed
Swapped my red cell phone for a pygmy bone
The moon moves the tides we walk the ground
It all might disappear some night without a sound

I think this is my first listen to your songs. I'm not sure what this one's about (feeding banana skins to Superman indeed!)but I love the easy vibe and your mellow vocal. The recording and production are great too - I like the little stop at 3.09. I'm downloading this and then I'll be listening to your other posts.
All the best
Steve
