Description
Staying true to form, here's another lovely little diddy. Usually I sing from a different point of view. This is from another side.

Lyrics
The overwelming stench of filth
Eminating from me
Welcomes insects to my body
I stew in my own fluids
Which serve as nurishment
Entering where they may- They lay their eggs

Maggots-seething-
Feeding on the dead
Expanding rotting flesh
Exposing the guts

My once warm corpse
Now an incubator for my pets
My only family
Being so full of these creatures
My eyes start to bulge
They start dropping out
A wriggling white mass of worms

Naw!
Mumbles is back again... this time some singer song writer introspection is on the menu. He's doing his best James Taylor! Really showing his sensitive side here!
Great to see some growth in Mumbles character.
The conceptual continuity in these tunes is fun, I got my helmet...
Happy Halloween from your number one fan Jay!

Death Metal Baby
in the tradition of Cannibal Corpse and Carcass. I actually used to hang out and jam with the members of Carcass when I lived in Dallas. Never was a fan of death metal but I got an appreciation for it then. I would bump the vocals up just a tad and turn down the effects on the vocals a tad. Still want to hear the words and at points in the song, it is a bit muddled. I would suggest some drum craziness in this at some point too but overall a great start. Enjoyed it.

Thanks
For stopping in and listening. I do agree with most of your comments. I would like to clean the mudiness, but I'm limited to what I have to work with.(which isn't much) As far as the vocals, I record on a portable studio crappy thing, believe it or not, there are no fx on them. The sounds I make are just me. Thanks again for the listen.

Why Thank you
I appreciate the compliments. I always like to think of "what could've been" if I had some better stuff. The distortion is actually right off the amp, nothing added. It works. Thanks again.

James Taylor
I've been listening to him alot lately, and he inspired this.(ha,ha j/k) But seriously i thought I'd put myself on the other side with this one, and it worked out pretty well. Thanks for listening, it's always good to have repeat offenders. :)

magic maggots
Love the lyrics as usual.
The drums are sounding a lot clearer and 'seperate'
Are you miking them up differently?
That snare's a killer at times. I think I've been shot.
I was wondering what your vox would sound like WITH effects.
In a way I don't think you need them.
You have a way of making your voice go beyond human.
Anyway, great stuff
enjoyed
cheers

You're too kind
Like I said to relic, it's always good to have some same people coming back and listening to this filth. :) I basically just jacked the volume on the drums a little more. I don't know what my voice would sound like with effects (I'm a little scared) I'll have to try sometime. Not sure what I would try, but anyway. Thanks as usual for stopping in and always having some good input.

Half of the band Dead End (also on Mac Jams) I have been working on heavier music. It's quite a difference from what you'd here with Dead End, but it's what I like to do. I always say "What are ya' gonna do? It is what it is."... [see more]
