This is a mix I've just come across again having completed the track at the end of October.

It's Space Ambient but I'm not telling you what it's about.....The title should give interested parties the clue. Listen to the track, Google the title, read/view what you find, then come back and listen again, knowing what you know, remembering what you've seen.

Needless to say, if they view anything more remote, they'll be looking at the back of their heads!!!

Any thoughts or comments you wish to share would be fine by me.

Cluster formation
I followed your instructions, and I must say that it works well. You have captured distance in the mix. The deep silence and patience is compelling. Backs of their heads. Hahaha. If only space were not expanding. But if it wasn't, we would be in crunchy trouble. Add a picture!

Hi Duane.....
I always thought that there were some objects that were exibiting blue-shift, and so were not part of the 'expanding multiverse'?? I still say that I could be correct as the lights still travelling out there from the last time that I looked, so I could still see my bald patch, given enough time!!! Ha ha.

The picture is up there now, at the top of the page.

Take care.

I cheated.
I listened and looked at the same time. In fact I'm still listening. You really have captured the vastness. Unimaginably impossible numbers!

Very nice Paul, and another addition to the ever expanding space collection. Thanks!

Yes, add one. There's a downloadable one of the very subject that would be ideal!

Hi Dave......
I took yours and Duane's advice and put up an illustration of the subject of my piece. It just doesn't give any indication of the distance to where is was, 'cus its not even there now....it's shifted.

Your welcome to any and all of my algorithmic noodlings.

Take care.

As nice one as ever
Luckily your music is back here on earth and I don't have to go over to JKCS041 to fetch it. Just click download button and wait a couple of seconds and then start listening a second time :-) Thanks!

P.S. Nice pic!

Very spatial, eh, special
Some really cool sounds here. The beatless nature of this song gives it a good timeless quality.

Hi Vic.....
Yes. The beatless nature, to me, implies great 'depth' as you get lost in the music as opposed to floating on the beat of the music.

Thanks for your kind thoughts.

Take care.

Hi Shadows.......
I've been listening for this music for quite some time as it happens!! Ha ha. Things actually just fell into place, once I had the bare bones of the mix.

The story fit the music or did the music fit the story. Either way they are matched whilst MJ's is still online.

Take care.

Man, of man. We are infinitesimal. There is no one I know of who can capture in sound the vastness of the universe. I hope many are playing your music acoustically (i.e. on external speakers) so that these impressions do in fact spread to the "four corners."

Hi Paul.......
On some of these type of mixes I do play around with the spacing and reverb/delay/echo/layering of the parts. This piece had some of those effects added, so it seems that the overall effect worked.

I'm sure that there'll be one or two more to follow!!

Take care.
