Lyrics
The seven year itch

She's got a seven year itch tattooed to her ankle.
She's got a seven year eye, in a bowl of sky of her flavor.
And she looks down, and she sees, a little Jesus walking around her feet.
She's saved now. Oh, glory, Hallelujah!

She's got a seven year old TV, still broadcasting without a sound.
She's got a seven year old cat that does nothing but feed her tricky lies.
She strap herself to whatever, wherever, whenever, just because it feels so good inside.

The seven year itch.

She's got a seven year dream of a seven year field of flowers.
She pick them in her dreams and smiles when she kisses their leafs.
She looks down, and she looks up. she looks down, and she looks around.
She think she's in heaven now. And by her definition she probably is.

She got seven years of collected poems, in the little book dressed in black leather.
She acts like she doesn't know about it, but she does. It's her destination.
And she looks down, and she feels, something of a huge relief.

The seven year itch.

Another slightly strange
alt pop post Mikki! You do these so well. Always a little "out of kilter", always well produced and always a good listen. I love the fact that you don't follow too many conventions in your songs (well, not conventions that I'm aware of anyway).

Garage or dungeon?
This tastes as good as an Iggy Pop and Nick Cave sandwich, and doesn't stick to the roof of my mouth half as much. It is, however, lodged in my brain. Nice lacing of synth in what's otherwise a great garage-dungeon mix.

love the "oh glory hallelujah" line. also really dig the backing vocals, almost beat boxing, very cool. the happy little organ lead is very cool too, especially behind the brutal lyrical lines like "she'll strap herself to whatever".
Check out my latest song called Summer Song
