Lyrics
We walk

We walk through the isle of wild. We walk through the cemetery of life.
We walk up narrow hills. We run through what we call love.

We walk through passion, we walk through the sun.
And we walk alone.

We walk, and we walk again. Until we can't walk no more.

We walk through our hemisphere. Walk through a galaxy of knowledge.
Walk with guns pointing to our backs. Walk and will never come back.

We walk through passion, we walk through the sun.
And we walk alone.

We walk, and we walk again. Until we can't walk no more.

Like all your posts Mikki
this sounds great - you are one of the most inventive artists at MJ, both musically and lyrically. I like a lot of the drum work here - the ride sounds terrific, moving in and out as it does. You have such an interesting take on melody and I especially love your backing "vocals".
Top post.

really
cool Mikki. The guitar sounds are amazingly twisted. As usual your production values make me drool. How do you mix? What kind of monitors? cans? I can't imagine. The bass is so smooth and punchy. The lyrics are poignant and transcendent. Who are the girls? Girls right, don't tell me that's some vocal bending software.
Thx!

hey zombie
has a trippy, dirge-like quality...i like the "walk through a galaxy of knowledge" line, very cool. i was initially surprised by the theme - your tunes always have so much energy i had a tough time believing that you'd think life was a drag, but i guess everybody has those days lol.

Great backtracks Mikki
It almost has a Russian feel to it, in some strange way. Like the futility of life as the Russians very often express it in music & song.

The lyrics are the story of life, and they ring true my friend. The vocal sounds like a depressed person singing while on thorazine. This is not a bad thing mind you, because it so fits the feel and tone of the lyrics and music.

I know, it's a new musical genre, Cossack Blues.

I actually love what you've done here Mikki, so don't take my comments in the wrong way. This is actually a very effective song, that just works.

Be well

Ed
