Lyrics
Rise
you jeserine dream you know what I mean
you hold a vice in hand
you try and make a stand
you forgot for real
you want you want what is real
my Jeserine dream is real
I think it all escapes somehow
cant roll up now
take a seat
take a chance take a life now
its in your heart
the way you hold me now
the way you understand

out of left field
the prophet tries I guess

right behind your back
take it when you can it helps
take it when you can
take it when you can now
your smart
you take it when you can
you need not lie

my Jeserine dream
you know what I mean
my jeserine dream
I told you before
cant keep up now
jeserine dream

now
comes down to a smile
everything you think you knew is just rolling out
the door
what
can you take the heart
what can you do
what can you know
Jeserine dream

subtleness
cool. the instruments all lay subtly on the drum track, and the vocals top it off.

Nice done, Tim.

dreamy
Really like the way the rhythm / drum section is working together to get the groove on.
Reminds me a bit of dEUS which is a good thing in my book.
Cool track
enjoyed

Interesting new development Tim -
seems like you're taking that extra time to work out your stuff and maximize your talent and style. I'll take a lesson from you on this. This moves along with a deep groove and fine balanced mix. Excellent vocals too.

I really dig the groove of this tune. Some cool tones floating around too. The lyrics work really well with the music as well. Nice work.

cool bass hook and i really like the guitar sounds on this one - that cool repeating melody on the rhythm track and the noodling on the opposite ear. you're getting closer and closer to a commercial sound without sacrificing any of your ideals. i dig it. looking forward to the next one.

Tim - excellent sound on this
Big upgrade to the software or something? Your recent posts are getting more and more controlled and much more "traditionally mixed". Fantastic production on this - everything sounds just right. Love the bridge - breaks things up beautifully. Some of the kick drum is making my phones a little unhappy, but that's probably my phones rather than the mix.
Excellent!!!!!!!!
Happy 2010 Tim,
Neil

The boomy bass is a nice contrast with sharpness of the drums. Like the growly flavor of the guitar. All of these are sitting nicely in the mix. The understated vocals bring out the lyrics with just the right amount of mystery and attitude. Nice job! But what the heck does jerserine mean anyway?

Really cool
Hey I really like this one. I like the brooding bass sounds and wandering guitar. Also like the way the melody and the rhythm are just barely connected. Good stuff...

Man, this is rollin. Got my head bobbing. You always remind me of a space-electro version of Les Claypool. Love the funky glitchy bits. Great compression on the drums too, this is really solid production. Rich guitar bed, great mix overall.

this has a lot of good soul and attitude. I honestly think there is a "will" in the music to move the chord up about half way through the first verse and then back down again. I thought you were going to change the chord progression - it sounded like your voice wanted it. This is meant with respect.

it's a neverending swirl of words, making this feel very dream like. your vocal performance is excellent - gentle and smooth. and the layers upon layers of vocals, interrupting, overlapping, it's all amazing. one of my favorites of yours sir.

Your artwork
is at a Platonic remove. Your song is too. The collision of Peter Gabriel and disco in a feverish tribal ritual informed by personal demons. All that percussive threat at 1:31 REALLY grabs me. Too short? Maybe. Not complaining, though.
