Description
This song has been hanging around for a long time. Before it had a different chorus. It was much like the verses. Boring. I changed the chorus to minor chords and it clicked. 1st done in GB now cleaned up nicely in Logic. I hope you like it.
Really an alternative country 6/8 or maybe just 3/4 time. One of those songs about falling in love and the other person not knowing about it yet.

Once again using Pointless picks from http://www.pointlesspicks.com

Lyrics
Come on over here
Come on over here
Come on over here
I love you

Don't you be so shy
Don't you be so shy
Saw you giving me the eye
I think I love you

I love you
I love you

(Musical Interlude)

I been looking at you all night
I think that your so nice.
Come on over here
Come on over here
I love you

Maybe it's too soon
or maybe it's the moon
but when I see you look my way
I say.
I love you

I love you
I love you
I love you

Thanks Feter
I'm playing through a Crate Profiler5. A tiny practice amp with great sound! I use the headphone jack for a direct out. Works great.

Nice laid
back feel you have here. This is very great work on the whole arrangement. I am liking the little bit of distortion on the guitar, nice harmonica part as well.

come over here!
man i love that lazy lead in the verse. also the muted arpeggio panned to one side. lastly really like the lyrics, perfect love song lyrics, simple and direct and playful. the chorus is unexpected but it works, especially with the low backups - also like the crescendoing lead you added to the second chorus. harmonica break is sweet, especially liked the 2nd break with the distorted lead. the best songs are like amusement park rides, and this fits the bill, really enjoyed the listen.

This song has a great feel! Guitars, bass, harmonica--all lovely in tone. Your singing is textured and evocative. Chorus is a nice change-up as well--you made some good choices as to how to create variety. The only thing I'm not totally crazy about is the drum part/sound: I'm all for the simple, and I like the little fills around 3:00 and later, but I feel like earlier in the song it's too metronomic and similar in volume. Or something. Maybe more reverb or a gate on the snare would help? (Don't know why that stood out to me; I guess just because there are a lot of quarter-note snare hits...) A terrific listen, in any case!

6/8, 3/4, 12/16... who's counting
great tune! i tap my foot all the same.:-)

I can only imagine it as Lou Reed going country. the switch on the chorus works great.

I like this a lot - with a small exception. That double hit on the kick drum goes against the flow to me (and kind of gets on my nerves). Maybe the drum part could be a little more varied or less quanyised? Apart from that, I love the vocals, harp, bass and guits. Works really nicely together.

Thanks for all the comments!
Drums are my great bug-a-boo. I use EZDrummer for the most part and I have found it to be the best solution thus far (If I don't play them myself). Like I said before I'm lazy and would just use whatever is handy.
With this song I take the comments on the drums to heart and now that I think about it I realize these patterns are far too busy for this a simple song. I could have played this part easily and it would have suited the song to a nicety. Live and learn. I will think about a redo.

Your
music reminds me of Tom Petty a little. The singing though is unique. You have a killer voice man. I always like your laid back style. Excellent song.

Very nice indeed
I really like your vocal and guitar style....you have a very recognisable sound and that is good thing in my book.
Harmonica works really well too

Hmmm,like the
song a lot, I am finding it instructional as well from a production and mixing/producing POV.....But most importantly ...pointless picks

I use a fairly heavy pick, Dunlop 1.50mms but I never seem to bve able to get the sounds that I want (like on Expression is Blue)until they are beginning to round off ! ! is this an epiphany ?...are these PPs available in the UK do we know ?
