a treat
love the guitar work, the eclectic combination of chords and notes, also really like the high bass melodies. second that for the lead work that arrives in the 2nd verse. i like the poppy little phrase 'ain't no sleep in the heart of the city'. this has your trademark prog rock meets 70's folk rock 'quality' (literally and figuratively) but it has a cool "up" vibe here and there that i really dig. here's to more insomnia lol

Another fine song
Nicely laid back (despite the "rock" label!)

I like the meandering guitar and the vocal delivery. Drums are a tad quiet though?

Cheers

Great start
with those unusual drums and drum sound. I found myself trying to work out the beats, some sort of 8/8 time???? I don't really understand the way these time signatures are written.
This all sounds very original to me, great song/lyrics and vocal (am I detecting a very high harmony in there in places?).
Guitars (wonderful solo) and bass sound top notch.
This is a grower, lots to listen too, I'm hearing more every time, downloading, thanks, for many more listens.
Cheers
Len

A
really great song Steve.
I like the guitar sound and playing here with some nice note runs over the chords.
Also a great guitar sound for the solo and your vocals are superb as always. I can hear you singing slightly higher and that sounds great, nice harmonies too.
Love them high note bass runs and some great lyrics.

Very much enjoyed Steve, thanks.

I do love the unusual beat, Guitar and lyrics. I thought both of the inst breaks could be a bit shorter but I did like them though.
