Nice work!
Athough I have to admit something feels awkward about the timing of the two parts at about 1-1:30ish. Otherwise great job!

Good Start
I would have a ringing guitar tone (like a clean fender twin reverb) in this going twaaaannnng in the verse, letting it ring. Some of the drums sound late in places but you alluded to that earlier. This has kind of a Tom Petty vibe going. Nice work!

I thought...
I thought it had a bit of Petty in it also...didnt mean to come out that way but it did! The second guitar part was a second thought. But worked out ok. Thanks for feedback. I listen!

I almost don't remember them
Can this have a Television vibe?
I love it man. It makes me smile. With the little imperfections you mention and all. Those little things make it better on my ears. Only thing is the guitar on the chorus is too smooth/lush. I expected the same slightly harsh guitar tone you have elsewhere. But that's me being picky, really a minimal thing in the whole.
Thanks for the DL.

yeah
IM a lo-fi type of guy too. I sort of like the homey sound it has. Plus Im a bad mixer. I need lessons. Ha!
I understand what you are saying about the guitar sound. If and when this one makes it or not. Im sure the guitar sounds will be better next recording. Thanks for the listen!

you have a good sound going on.
I like the raw sound of your guitars.
Sounds like a nice start for a wonderful song.

thank you
its guitars straight through. With just a hint of reverb. Im just not that good of a mixer. So the song has to get better through the real studio! Thanks for coming over and having a listen!

From the past and yet new to me. It has roots in so much of what I grew up listening to. It is like hearing a new track from a beloved band. Thanks for sharing.

the bass
The bass rundown came from the vocal idea really. vocals went down bass went down. Basic! Thanks for the stop and listen!

Very cool
spooky spy snooping kinda vibe to the music on this one. A litlle bit of timing issues between the drums and the music. If you are using garageband or logic, it is pretty easy to clean that up. Vocals are a little low in the mix too, hard to hear. Really like this song though, worth getting it perfect. Great job man!

Well I love this
Steve! I think the vocal space is perfect in the mix. I love the guitar expression you have. I hope you take this to the next level, clean up the timing issues and keep going with it. This has the potential to be a great tune!
