Kind of a pogues
vibe to this song. I like it. I would recommend eqing the acoustic slightly differently. It is a bit heavy on the upper midrange, perhaps bump down around 2k a tad. I would also move the vox up a bit in the mix. That would likely give you more separation between the guitar and vocals as well. Cool song. Very nice job.

thanks man
for the tips. we will try that when we do a real version of this. this was just recorded vox/guitars at the same time on one mic so getting the mix right was our main concern.

Being Canadian
you probably know The Cowboy Junkies' breakout album (The Trinity Sessions) was recorded in a Church with one mic. You guys have that same kind of feel in your live performances. Excellent song writing as well.

love the tune and the production. like babyshambles. also love that its about a t-shirt, t-shirts and records are the usual casualty of heartbreak. great melody and love the two vocals. also very cool that you included the chords, can't believe nobody has though to do that before.
