The Voyage

Description
A sultry ambient pop groove (that's right kids!)...a bit of a Serge Gainsbourg/Air influence creeping in here, no guitars too...well until the end bit. This is still a bit of a work in progress so could be updated in the future

Well - that was
something different from you Steve. Really like the sophisticated fast rhythm backing counterbalanced with your silky laid back vocal. Very effective. Great solo that fits the mood perfectly.
Thanks for another stevel addition to my collection.
Cheers
Len

Edit: On further listens - really appreciating the lyrics too.

Very different...
I like the backing and your vocal sits really well with it. Good to hear the guitar's still there. It'll be interesting to see how this develops if you decide to refine it further.

Cool post here, nice instrumentation and vocals, the tone of your voice is perfect on this music. Yes, very different of your usual style but really pleasant to listen. A great proof of your talent. Thanks...

I wish I had the backing track....
...to just jam over.... It just has a cool rhythmic feel....

I like how you're using your voice on this one, Steve... and I like that, "found a way to take the voyage...the voyage to you" refrain... and the bom ba ba ba scat thing you do....

Neat. Feels like a step forward, or into different territory, to me... Sounds great...

Unexpected
after your recent lo-fi excursions.

Very nicely done though.

Loved those vocals! Creamy smooth.

Cheers
