Description
Last week I made the biggest musical investment of my life - I ordered the EastWest Quantum Leap Composer's Collection. So now, I have just over 200 GB of world class sampled instruments at my fingertips (just to brag a bit).
But of course this heightens the expectations of my work, I guess...

Hope this short experiment lives up to them.

Whispers
Not the usual kind of stuff I listen to but this is great. I can REALLY imagine this in a film or as a segue section in a play.
All of the instrument sections come in at the 'right time' and it never feels 'crowded'.
Love the way the vocals pan around. Great touch.
Lovely track
Enjoyed

Mystery on a savanna crossroads
Excellent cello sound. Dug the rhythm, the feel of the hand, in your percussion. Nice continuum. Mesmerizing. Looking forward to what you do with your new collection of fab samples.

Wow!
This is awesome. I'm really happy you got it - it'll allow you to do exactly what you've just posted here - have fewer instrument layers that sound just right as opposed to relying on multiple layers to create a full sound. Of course you've done wonders with the samples you had, but a professional sample library in the hands of a talent like yourself is good news for a lot of people:)

This is tremendously evocative and mysterious. Surprised how organic the voice sample sounds. Also the cello is smooth and powerful. This is great news. Can't wait to hear more just like this!

This sounds really great, Einar...
It's like there's a sort of reverberant envelope around every note... Pretty amazing tonality/sonority....

I like the loping rhythm to the whole piece, and while I usually don't like sampled voices, I think this really works and sounds terrific.... You started out here an exceptional musician, but your taste has really grown over the years... Impressive sounds might be impressive on their own, but what really makes them come alive is a musical sensibility, and you've got that.... Much enjoyed and happily downloaded...

Hey Eini,
tasty tune I must say.
That collection seems to be a very good investment, sounds very natural, very authentic.
Thx for sharing!

Exquisite work here..
Really love the composition, great interplays, and indeed this is very realistic sounding. Although I'd probably move the cello to the slight right to balance the voice, instead of the slight left here (the overall mix sounds slightly left-heavy). A gentle mysterious evening call. Sparse and perfect.

Sampled instruments are fun
But I tell you, actually slapping on a Hang drum yourself is more fun than should be allowed. Even if that one instrument probably costs a good fraction of your 200 instrument library....

Anyway, nice composition. Much enjoyed. Your money is well invested. This all sounds great.
