Lyrics
I look into her Green Eyes
and suddenly, I don't care

Cause nothing really matters
lost inside her hypnotizing stare

Just one of her possessions
a part of her collection

Won't try to make her to stay
cause if I do she'll be gone, gone away

She'll go ahead and cry now
why she does this, I don't know

She tells me she's divided
her future was decided long ago

She'll cry for me a river
I'll drown in it without a care

Cause nothing really matters
lost inside her electric green eyed stare

Nice
The thing that really catches my attention are the really cool bass lines. Plus the bass is mixed in full and rich which is something that I really like.

Excellent song!

Bassiliciousness...
Thanks fasteddie! I take a lot of time trying to get the bass tone right, and it's hard cause my axe is a 70's silvertone with a lipstick pickup and strings that have not been changed in at least ten years. I often hear the bass lines as I come up with the songs at it's inception… been a bassist way too long I guess. Thanks again!

sweet!
man i love this vibe, garage-y power pop, with a little 38 Special in there. really like the plinking in the ear opposite the lead. great falsetto backups and perfect solo to end things. thanks for the DL kids!

Thanks temple!
I really appreciate the words. I'm a person who posts stuff and thinks "oh I suck" so anything affirmative is great to hear.

Shredder
Great bass and shredding guitar work and yeah, I get the Smithereens coolness/rock feel.

I've downloaded this tune just so I can shred in the bus.

Thanks!
