Description
Ok, this is it and darn proud I am of it too. I think this is the best piece of music I have ever done. I think everything that I have ever learned from my musical endeavors so far is in here. This mix pushed my mac to its absolute limit. It is playing 10 simultaneous streamed audio tracks and 14 instrument tracks all with differing eq's and many with individual effects and obviously multiple LARGE samples. All running through my mastering set-up in Ozone. This is a dense piece of music even for me! I have to thank(!) Harold Rocha for a comment he made on the WIP about the desert which reverberated in my mind and helped me choose the sounds over the bridge. I think the flute ties the oceans of sand and water together nicely. And therefore will fit perfectly on my next album entitled Earth Bound.

Very
evocative. Could work with a video of the earth from above, those quick, racing journeys to the beginning and back. Congratulations. :)

Wow!
The intro seems more distinct. The transitions seem smoother, and the overall soundspace seems *vast*... not sure how you did that, but it is warm, clear, and clean sounding, gorgeous. The lulled calm is broken with the startling crash at 4:36, gorgeous. You should indeed be proud, this stretches my ears from shore to shore... love it!

An absolutely beautiful soundscape! You should be proud of this. It is sonically full, has width and is produced excellently. I am hearing great things about Ozone and mastering and this is another example that proves the point.
Bravo!

My jaded ears
After listening to this the day after I noticed a nasty disharmony during the bridge section. I went back in and managed to get rid of it. However I cannot re-post the track whilst keeping these comments.

Deep and wide
This song is huge sounding. Tons of stuff going on in this one. Great vocals in there and a great sound to the percussion. Totally pro sound too. Killer job. Emotional track with great ambient feel.

Earthbound?
Funny, this track makes me think of floating above a landscape, almost like an IMAX movie shot from a helicopter. Lovely and spacious soundstage and so nicely mixed and mastered--your pride is well-earned!

I think the slow entrance into the song is extremely effective. I love the gentle, rocking pace of the entire piece. The bridge is awesome, as different sounds move in and out. Wonderful. Full and rich. I love it.

Great on headphones
For once I put the head phones on rather than just reply on the lap top speakers...what a treat. Real depth in this and such a soundscape. I can see it playing over a scene of waves crashing up against the Brittany coast on a bright sunny day as the aerial flight goes right round that coast line. Good stuff. mark

Well done
Yeah, this IS very good. Not as in TD this time, but more like Vangelis on his Voices album. Actually, I think it would've fit quite nicely on that album... I like the discrete but well put fx-sounds. Makes for great atmosphere. Thanks and congratulations.
