Love the song
...you also manage to make it sound live and extremely well produced at the same time. Could definitely have been longer though.
Thanks for another download.
Cheers
Len

That's some kind of guitar tone!
And just enough of a blend of classic moves and a little edge of craziness on the slide guitar...

I just woke up to the Rover and Shaky connection... Remarkable how dense I can be....

Good one...

Ed

Good, hot, humid slide
Found you through the B.B. & Buddy vid you posted in the forum (http://www.macjams.com/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=6;showtopic=200679) and thought I'd check-out yer blues. Hot stuff on the slide, really pure heat you're cookin' with. Vox is fine, too, with that mouthful of blue marbles. Kind of Billy Gibbon, he's a big Muddy Waters disciple, and you, too, do this in the right musical spirit.

I am glad
I found this Shaky.. this is gonna get regular rotation in my Ipod. Sorry it took so long to get by for it. Let me know when you figure out the last verse lol. I will be back for the next version you can count on it. Vocal could be up a bit more.. that smokin slide buries it at times.
Peace

do you have anything you want to say about religion...or is this song just an open mockery of those people who believe in god? i'm only asking because you haven't posted your lyrics and i don't want to judge this unfairly.

Great guitar tone.
I can't make out all of the words but it is great to hear you seeking inspiration in the grass roots faith of many of the great blues men such as Mississippi John Hurt, Mance Lipscomb and Reverend Gary Davis not to mention such luminaries as the Staple singers and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
