Description
This is a psychedelic pop song. I'm going for a kind of crazy carnival sound here. Does it work? I'm unsure of the ending. Thoughts? I'm open to suggestions. Still a work in progress, I think it needs some neatening up around the edges.

Lyrics
Storybookland, plaster castles six feet tall.
An anmatronic band playing music in the hall.
Reality crept up all so suddenly,
it was enough to startle me
in the mirror house carnival.
I took a photo from no where,
I tried to see from no perspective.
I took two steps back
so that I could be objective.
I'm the only one I've ever known
but my mind is not my own.
I'm a forest, I'm a field of corn.
I was bored but I couldn't sleep
baby baby can't take the heat.
I was reading fairy tales in my head,
baby baby she lost her head.

ambitious
man i like the concept, and the execution is really ambitious. i love the brian wilson-esque vocal arrangements. I'd say go even further in that direction. there is a cool bedroom melancholy at the core of this tune and the euphoric pop vocals make for a sweet contrast. seems also to be begging for some marching band treatment here or there a la OK GO.

Carnivals
to me always have a slightly sinister feel to me....
Your music here has a very cool feel to it and this song also has a feel running through it which reflects my opinion of the carnival:)
I really like this. Sure it could do with some neatening up but maybe some of its loose feel is also what gives it it's charm.
Nice one

Second Hand Brilliance
Ya have been missed. You just need technique my friend, and a studio, maybe some musicians to do your bidding.
The pitch challenges make this hard for me to listen to, but the vision and flow of ideas make up for the poor execution.
I recall thinking last year, all ya need is production assistance.
