I'm just learning all this loop and sample stuff. I'm from the old school of rock guitar and drums. Hopefully I get a better as time goes.
Thanks Mike

Still learning my way around Logic Pro 9. I've been using the loops and samples to come up with short pieces so I can practice mixing and editing.
Thanks Mike

All very even and sounding great. Kind of a chill out tune this, well constructed!

Still learning the ins and outs of Logic Pro 9. My mixing ear is getting better. I'm hoping to get back into the Progressive Rock genre soon. That will be the real test for me.
Thanks for your comments.

I'm hoping I can create some more melodic pieces now that I'm getting the hang of editing and mixing.

Lush
I really enjoyed the soundscape here. Very full and dense and lush.
I do think, though, that this could use either some sort of melody on top of this, or a middle section to break things up a bit, just to prevent it from becoming too repetitive.

That being said - what's here already is really cool.

I do agree with you that it needs a melody and some changes to keep it from repetitive.

nice use of loops + samples!
I'm still scared of loops in my own music for some reason but you make a good case for the very musical use of repetition (and change) in creating sonic texture--thanks for posting!
