Now that I have a MAC - the challenge was on for me to do another "EMBER" - Drakonis' brainchild of MJs (numerous versions can be found on Drakonis' page: www.macjams.com/artist/drakonis ..... I started out by changing up some of the instruments in Drakonis's original score into pan flutes, other flutes, and yes I think in one place Tibetan Singing bowls ... oddly enough a piano ... and guitar and strings (of some sort I think) ... then came the task of adding various other native flute tracks and other flutes ... from there it went to adding a little bit of many parts of the world .... including a didgeridoo ... there are native chanters on here, tuvan throat singers (one of them being me) .... buddhist monks chanting ... ( and um ... numerous chanting tracks of myself) ... including a rather painfully elicited HIGH note track (careful of the cracking parts ... as I am still battling a rather stubborn bit of bronchitis that just does not want to let go quite yet) .... there are birds and rain and pretty much everything in this one but the kitchen sink. Due to the many nations involved in this song (and the absence of a WORLD genre ... I just left it at other) ..... At the end of the day .... I managed 38 tracks (not close to Drak's record ... but it's a start for me ...) ! and let's not forget "Kenny" - whatever I do what I want !
um ... chanting ... oh oh uh eeeee ooooo .... etc.
