Description
Life is tough lately. So tough that I really haven't cared to create new songs. But I have decided to post old songs from the Dead End catalogue. These songs ( and there are many) are from when Vince and I were starting out. He had just gotten his Mac, and we were f*ckin' around. Some are P.C. (politically correct) and some aren't. Who am I kidding? Most of them aren't! Most are funny. At least to us.

On a few you even get to see the "inside" "witty banter" (although, how witty?) of Dead End.

Either way, these songs are some of the few things that bring a smile to my face lately. Enjoy.

Lyrics
I can't believe that the Pilsbury Doughboy is skull and bones
Yum, yum Fresh and tasty- I love his scones
If lovin' him is so wrong I- don't wanna know

He's got pastry cakes, cinnamon rolls
To exercise global control
A fresh crossaint for your soul-
He's got it all 'cause he's

Skull and bones

I can't believe that the Pilsbury Doughboy is skull and bones
Frostin' up them sticky buns-
Who wants to know?
So delightful and so tempting
Sweet lord of dough

He's got pastry cakes, cinnamon rolls
To exercise global control
A fresh crossaint for your soul
He's got it all 'cause he's..

Skull and Bones

mmm mm, mmm mm, mmm mm taste my buns
mmm mm, mmm mm, mmm mm sticky buns

Nothin' says lovin' like somethin' from the oven
Take a peek inside my oven

(pre-chorus)
(chorus)

Sweet lord
Yeah, we thought that was pretty good too. Believe it or not this was about 5 years ago, so I don't remember for sure, but I think Vince gets the credit for that line! Plus the way he sings that line, gets me every time.
Thanks for listening.

The Dead End Kids Rule!
Oh man, Jay, you ain't going to believe this, but your Michael here worked for Pillsbury R&D in Minneapolis for some six years--worked in the dough department (seriously, the DOUGH department!) Well, some of the pain of that has been erased over time, but this song brought all the old spirit back--oh how I wanted to slam dunk that pasty bastard into a deep fat fryer back then! Oh man, you guys--this was just fracturing me---those voices! What I enjoyed most about this is you two obviously had a great time and so did I, but you are talented enough musicians and performers to also make this musically rewarding too! My last listen of the evening and it's good to go to bed cackling to myself--this was great! Thanks to you and Vince! Michael

PS: Little dough trivia for you: you know that cookie dough that you buy and you just slice it and put it in the oven? Those are called "chubs". I remember my first day at work, some secretary said, "well, I'm going down to the lab and see if I can find me a chub to take home." I thought she was into heavyset guys, you know?

Wow
Hopefully this didn't bring back too many painful memories :) I am glad you enjoyed the song though.
I think that secretary used the double meaning to her advantage, and was actually looking for a date ;)
Anyway, thanks for the listen!
